Come out and enjoy Texas Hillel’s 11th annual Israel Block Party! IBP is a huge all-day party located on The University of Texas’s South Mall on Wednesday, March 11th, 2009 from 3-9pm. There will be tents focusing on Israel’s culture, environmentalism, society, government, religion, and technology. A free Hookah Hut and a Marketplace will be open all day, and traditional Middle Eastern cuisine will be available for purchase. Texas Hillel is also pleased to announce this year’s performer, Berry Sakharof, who is better known as the Israeli Bob Dylan. Come and join Texas Hillel in enjoying all the food, fun, and culture that Israel Block Party has to offer.
